Subject of the enhancement

During an accessibility audit, we received the following feedback from screen reader users:

Our blind and low sighted testers were confused by the fact that when they moved on in a page additional content was being loaded on to the same page, but the initial content was still available.

This affects "screen reader users who are not able to see that more content is added to a page and may be confused as they can still access the original content on the page."

The recommendation from the accessibility firm was:

To avoid this issue, it might be worth considering alerting learners that additional content has been loaded. This practice is demonstrated with the Continue button in the Rise authoring tool as shown in the screenshots below.

As you can see, below after clicking the Continue button, the user is alerted that "additional content has been loaded".
