7 Day Activity Log

I'm setting up my chore list and I've been doing some testing. I wrote the reset_all_data automation to clear my testing data, but it does not get rid of the "7 Day Activity Log". Is there a way to do this?

P.S. - The data still shows in the graphs and progress of achievements as well, and I would like to clear that too.

That 7 day log in the dashboard is just looking at the native home assistant entity logging, so no, it isn't stored inside of the integration and I don't think there are any easy ways to remove it.

If you wanted to look into clearing out your home assistant recorder and logs, that could be an option, but that would be for everything in ha, and I doubt it is worth it. Any of the data in the log will naturally fall off over the coming week or so depending on your log settings.

Gotcha. Thank you. Like you said, it's probably not worth trying to clear out the log in that case.

I thought this is what was effecting my achievements, but maybe there is a different issue? After resetting all data, I still have some achievements that say they have a percentage complete. Can these be cleared somehow?

Just to confirm, did you run the reset_all_chores, or reset_all_data service? The reset_all_data should have cleared everything including all achievement progress. If you did run the reset_all_data service, you might try running it one more time and restart ha. (Although that shouldn't be required)

If that didn't work, then can you post a copy of your kidschores_data file here?

please tell me how to reset data, i see the action but dont know how to start it

Running both reset_all_data. reset_all_chores and restarting HA didn't clear the achievements. I would be happy to send a copy of the kidschores_data file. Please see attached zip with the file.

I added a quick fix to the logic when resetting all data, which will be ready for next release.

@rjl7405 in the meanwhile, if you want to start all over again, just remove the integration, delete kidschores_data and readd the integration after. This will remove any data still lingering around.

Looking at the number of chores and configuration you already have in there, I'm sure you don't want to completely remove the integration and re-add all that. If I were you, I would probably just delete the two achievements that have old data in them, then re-add those two. Good luck
