Add trycatch for assumption-breaking errors #15
Description
Annotation files that break basic assumptions of the checker currently get an unhelpful "ERROR: CHECK LOGS" message. Most of these errors can be found by the annotator on a comprehensive manual re-check of the file. Add a trycatch with a friendlier message encouraging them to re-check for errors and listing a few common things to look for.
