Just found the change must have happened in September last year - I see a file downloaded on 09/21 with an "&" and on 09/25 it was missing on another, similar one. However, I don't recall whether I was on the beta or stable branch back then ... Best regards |

I've observed that at one point (can't finger point when) the video downloads drop characters (like "&") in file names and German Umlauts ä, ö, ü become a, o, u instead. There's probably more, but those are most concerning for me :-)
I assume this being a codepage issue and recognize this might not be easy to generally "fix", as I might download files from all over the world with any kind of esoteric codepages used to build up their names to start with. Still, is there a way to set up my preferred codepage for character conversions, or those being converted at all? Perhaps something like a default behavior and an additional private standard if no such capability exists yet?
