AcademicPages stopped working on github pages

I have been using an AcademicPages work for several years using Github Pages for "hosting".
Since a few days, this is not working anymore and I get a 404 error on my website, although nothing was changed.

Did something similar happen to anyone else?

Any solutions?

There were some issues awhile back on the GitHub Pages side with deployments, but there have some updates to the template and it's successfully deploying - https://academicpages.github.io/ - so it might be a configuration issue specific to your site. Can you provide a link to the repository and where you expect it to be deploying to?

Sorry for that, have set it to public
_config.yml has not changed (I am now moving the original domain julianklug.com to a privately hosted server)

So I just went to https://www.julianklug.com/ and it looks like it's back online again. I'm not seeing the build and deploy notice in the Commits / Workflow runs history, so it might have been an issue related to GitHub Actions that didn't get properly triggered.

i have it now running on a private server using docker - works for now but sad that the github Pages option is not working anymore
