qemu-img executable not found in $PATH when starting colima

When starting colima I get the following error. I do understand the problem, but I don't know how to get the qemu-img utility on my Macbook M3? Is there a brew package for MacOS (Sequoia 15.1) or should I use a different approach to fix this?

This has been addressed in the latest release https://github.com/abiosoft/colima/releases/tag/v0.8.0.
