Unable to connect using Pi Zero2W

Thanks for the amazing work @manio .
After unsuccessful attempts to get wireless Android auto working on my Pi Zero2w using the original WirelessAbdroudAutoDongle repo's latest artifacts, (v0.5.0), i found your comment on one of the issues (https://github.com/nisargjhaveri/WirelessAndroidAutoDongle/issues/302) and downloaded the artifacts provided by you and flashed it on my sd card.
Unfortunately, I was still getting the same problem of my phone showing "connecting to Android auto" with the infinite loader and constantly automatic disconnection of the dongles bluetooth with my phone. I am attaching logs of 2 runs:

1. With my phone's bluetooth connected to cars HU
2. Without my phone's bluetooth connected to cars HU

Wired connection on my phone worked pretty well.
My setup for your reference:
Phone: Pixel 6a Running Android 16
Car: Suzuki Ciaz (SOP9 version 1790) for bosch head unit
Android auto: 14.6.652454-release
Device: Raspberry Pi Zero2W

Can you please help me debug the issue?

I thought the ones present in /var/log/messages were the same ones as the aa-proxy logs.
I've attached the aa-proxy-rs logs.

If this helps, I've observed that the devices gets automatically unpaired and is no longer present under saved devices in bluetooth settings of my phone.

The logs are saying that your raspberry has your phone saved and trying to connect to it... but it is unable to do it:
Error connecting: Bluetooth operation failed: br-connection-refused
Like your phone is refusing connection? Can you try to remove your Bluetooth profile of the Raspberry from your phone and/or your remembered car in Android Auto settings in your phone?

Wireless android auto is already enabled in my Android auto settings. I tried disabling and re enabling it, along with removing my car from phone's android auto and forgetting the dongle in phone's bluetooth. I still get the same problem.

Just checked the aa-proxy logs, they seem similar..

Maybe try this in config/webinterface:

• set connect to empty string
• enable the dongle mode
• and set btalias to eg: AndroidAuto-aa-proxy-rs

Then you need to connect manually for the first time...

After doing the steps you asked, the phone now stays connected to dongle, but I don't see the wifi network which will enable android auto connection and following is the log I get:

Unfortunately I wasn't able to open http://10.0.0.1 due to some reason, so I logged in using terminus to get the above log

This seems to be a problem - bluetooth handshake cannot start for some reason:

What if you disable dongle mode - and don't touch the rest of config? Then try to connect manually...

By disable dongle mode you mean change mode to default (1) right?

Default is disabled. Just enter webinterface and click the switch "OFF".
