1.7.008 Cannot Auth to ZMEventServer #1149

Describe the bug
It appears that the Google Play Store has a 1.7.008 version that somehow doesn't exist here (not sure how that happened.) My phone pulled in the update and I was no longer receiving notifications from the zmeventserver. Nothing had changed on the server side so I began to test things. Uninstalled/Reinstalled zmNinja via the app store. Removed all settings and started from scratch with configurations.
What is strange is that during the setup of v1.7.008, everything appears to be fine. Authentication works fine, API tests are all successful and access to ZM works as expected. However, if I close and re-open v1.7.008, it gives me the grey screen saying to swipe left because API's maybe aren't configured correctly. I can swipe left and access ZM perfectly fine again.
Also, upon attempting to save my Event Server settings, I get no grey bar confirmation that the settings were saved. So, I'm not sure if maybe something is missing here? Event Server status in v1.7.008 is always stuck on "Pending Auth" but I don't see it even attempting to auth with the Event Server.
I was unable to troubleshoot for too long since I needed my notifications back fairly quickly. So, I downloaded the v1.7.007 APK from here and installed that and it's working fine again.
Debug logs
I failed to collect logs with v1.7.008. I'm sorry. When I'm able to have more notification downtime, I will re-install/upgrade again and collect what I can.
