3 CBitmapMuzzleFlash particles per projectile
The same effect is applied to all the projectiles, but the trail length is dependent on projectile speed. So Swift's faster projectiles are longer while Bandit or Welder projectiles are shorter

At standard speed, the projectiles move more than their own length between frames, appearing with discrete positions instead of continuous movement
With longer projectiles and with trails fading the back of the projectile away for longer, this doesn't happen anymore
