Describe your suggested feature

I have been using the vega app for a long time. No doubt it is an amazing app.

But there are some shortcomings in it at some places -
The UI of the app is quite good but some of changes can make it even more impressive.

(Right now I am mostly talking about '4Khudhub')

1. As of now, there is no dropdown according to the season of the series, it is made according to the columns given on the website. Insteadof that, if you make 2 separate dropdowns for seasons and quality, then it will become very easy to use the app.

2. Also, there should be progress bar for every episode.  (as shown in the image) (for all providers)

3. If you separate seasons and quality, then along with this you can keep the watch data (also progress bar) of individual episodes of each season same for all qualities.

4. I also need a zoom feature in the app's video player. Because most of the 4k content which is made in 2:1 has black borders above and below which reduces the viewing experience. And in this I cannot use alignment like fit or contain otherwise the content will be cut.  (also if this custom zoom data is saved only according to quality then it will be better) (for all providers)

5. If we generate links of any episode then it should be saved locally for at least 6 hours. Because I have seen that most of the links remain active for 6 to 12 hours.
   (If you want then you can give an option in the settings to save the link - immediately, 6 hours, 12 hours)
   By default it should on 6 hours

6. Instead of description on series or movies, if you add columns like year, language (change accounting to season), seasons then it will make it even better.
   (Also shown in the image)
   (All these things have been given in a fixed column on the website of '4khdhub', so maybe you will not have much trouble in adding them.)

Bonus:
7. Instead of the progress bar of the episode which is shown in continuing watching section on the home page, if you add the progress bar according to the seasons then it will be better.  For this, according to me, you should try this formula-
50÷number of seasons×current season (%)
Meaning if we start watching any episode from 3rd season directly and there are total 7 seasons then -
50÷7×3 = 21.43% (progress bar should cover 21.43%)

(If you use this progress bar trick then add it to both home page and watch list)

I can't separate season and quality from most providers gives season names like this Season 4 {Hindi-English} 720p 10Bit Esubs [400MB]. Each provider has its own style. How can I extract quality and season and map them separately, other than using regex
until I can't get which season user is watching, I can't show progress bar season-wise

First of all, I don't know much about these Apps Scripts or any other language but I know HTML so whatever I am writing below is based on my knowledge of HTML.

1. To separate seasons and quality, you can use a simple trick that works well in HTML:
   First, You create a hidden container in which all the txt of the movie is written as like mentioned on the website.
   Second, you have to create a script that will separate the keywords of seasons from the given data. (eg - S01, S02, Season 1, Seasonosn-1 etc) This will create our first drop down.
   And all the remaining will come in the second drop down.
   With the help of the script, remove the title of the movie or series from both dropdowns.
   (Also add a button to every series so that we can switch between the old style and the new style in which season and quality are different.)

2. This is very simple, actually you have already done this because the progress bar of the episodes is already visible under Continue Watching on the home page, you just have to do it below each episode।

3. Maybe it can be done with the help of HTML, but if it is not possible then it is okay, it is not that important.

4. As the video player is from someone else's project then this is also fine.

5. This is also very simple according to me because this feature is already available in the app but currently the link is available only for the time the app is open, If we close the app, we have to generate the link again.Just change it to 6 hours or 12 hours.

6. This is also not such a special feature, leave it as it is or remove the description section insted.

7. Also leave it.

Yes, this format will not work on all provider but it will work on most of all. And to avoid any problem, you can provide a button through which we can switch between the default style and this new style.

I checked it in a few provides and it was working well on most of the series -

I have found a good way to create dropdowns separately for season and quality.

I have attached a link which has all the possible tags for season, quality and audio.

You just have to extract these tags from the title of the movie or series and create dropdowns.

(I have written all the possible tags but did not write their variations as it would have become too much. So you have to do it using script. In tags ' ' (space) should be replaced by '.', '-','_','' (no space).)

This works for 99% of websites.
