I consistently get this error on all videos:
❌ Error writing single-stream to disk for '0hxubzu22fl3pe3hpg47i_source.mp4': ('Connection broken: IncompleteRead(335544320 bytes read, 347447443 more expected)', IncompleteRead(335544320 bytes read, 347447443 more expected))

I basically can only download pictures. Videos just fail except a handful of smaller videos. How do I fix this?

You should download video separately and use the "Multipart" download on top of progress log left side of "👁️" click that turn it on and make sure thread count is below 10 and use it for only videos or big files

Because this error is kemono or coomer side issue

Thank you. Another issue: Whenever I restart downloading, it just re-downloads the entire Coomer.st profile's files from scratch. How do I prevent this from happening?

How do you restart? do you cancel the download than start the same creator again?

Cancel it, Kemono Downloader crashes, close app and restart it. And then start the same creator again

Why you cancel it in mid download? To resume after some time? If yes than don't cancel just force quit the download through task manager and when you run the app again it will give you option to resume your last download

Sometimes it freezes. So it only gives the option to resume if it crashes or you force a crash?

i keep getting this message every time i try downloading something. what am i doing wrong?

Show the full error drag the progress log to left through that division

how do i re-enable the tour? also when i click download, i get 403 forbidden error....saying to check cookie settings....but i followed steps properly to get cookies.

Click the ( ? ) mark button at bottom and error 403 i just don't understand what's happening the error 403 mean the server understand the request but don't accept it I tried what ever I can from my side
And I never got this so i can't test the app to see is it fixed or not

Oh sorry yes. Its fixed. Guess I forgot to rename the cookie file to 'cookies' once I export

New problem: So, I started using multi-part on, which mostly fixed the timeout errors. And I started downloading every 5 pages per session and then re-downloading the files that timeout. But as of yesterday, I started experiencing a weird new error. It might say something like "🏁 Download Completed! Summary: Downloaded Files=461, Skipped Files=5" yet when I hit the Error button, there's only a single file I can resume downloading for.

when you retry a file and the file fail again to download it will go again in the error dialog and when you get this "🏁 Download Completed! Summary: Downloaded Files=461, Skipped Files=5" it mean the download is ended but it dont clean the error dialog until you reset

Yes, that's usually what happens. This was a new batch, no retries yet. When it completed, it said 5 files had been skipped but the Error queue only contain 1 file. The other 4 were just missing. It was weird.

The skip was just duplicates you will see skip files in every download the api provide same file 2 to 3 time so it skip some error files are different so if it says 461 downloaded means 461 unique files downloaded and 4 skipped mean 4 duplicates skipped and if you want those duplicates you can use keep Duplicates check box

Once you've completed a session and have saved a json-file, how do you open it to only download undownloaded files?

Click the color palette emoji next to the URL input, then select "Check for Updates" and choose the JSON file.

If you're using version 6.3.1, try downloading using "Check for Updates."
However, if you encounter the following error:

❌ CRITICAL ERROR: Missing keys for PostProcessorWorker: multipart_scope, multipart_parts_count, multipart_min_size_mb

...then please update to version 6.3.2.
