can not open device on mac os

Hi, I´m trying to use libfido2 on mac os 13.4 on a mac mini M1 machine.

I´m trying to open a device like this (pseudo code):

fido_init();
info = fido_dev_info_new();
fido_dev_info_manifest();
foreach() {
 ptr = fido_dev_info_ptr()
 dev = fido_dev_new()l
 path = fido_dev_info_path(ptr);
}

the code works well on linux, but on mac os it fails at fido_dev_open ioreg://<somenumber> with FIDO_ERR_TX

• I´ve tried self compiled fido, from brew and from ports. all the same.

Please provide debug output; enable it by setting the FIDO_DEBUG=1 environment variable or by passing FIDO_DEBUG to fido_init().

ok, updated my system today:

1. ports and brew installation now provide libfido2 1.13.0
2. Mac OS to 13.4.1 (<-- this seems to be the one fixing the issue, read more below)

now it is working:

while on the other mac I tested with libfido2 updated to 1.13.0 with Mac OS 13.4 I still can not access the device.
