Speed not even reaching 50% of aggregate

I am running OMR router 0.62-6.6 on my Proxmox server running on an Intel NUC w/ i5 7260U CPU and have assigned it 4GB ram w/ 2 cpu cores. The VPS side is running on a Racknerd vps w 1gb link. I am connecting 3x cellular and 1x wireless client connections. When I do various speed tests the OMR router side will show like 430mbps on the download peak graph but my test might only get to 200mbps. These connections should be able to do 750mbps+ individually. So even going by the real time traffic graph saying I'm peaking at 430mbps and I am only getting 200mbps on the test, I am not even hitting 50% of the speed I should. The upload is similar. Am I missing something or maybe I have something misconfigured? Is the graph not correct?

Did you try omr-test-speed and check each connection with omr-test-speed eth* (replace eth* with each real interface name) ?

In your experience, what interface type should I use? Currently I am using virtio.

Yes VirtIO as bridge should work. Use also a dedicated proxmox interface for all WANs, but I think it's already the case with an eth5.

I'm not using Proxmox for any OMR install, difficult to help and find the issue here.

Yes, I am using a dedicated interface for each connection. Each is a virtio bridge interface with tagged vlan. I am using proxmox because I cannot find a reasonably priced router that offers 8 physical interfaces. I guess I could make do with 4-6 and just run a couple on vlans going through a switch like I am now.

Why a router with 8 physical interfaces ? A Switch can be used, only set each modems/box in a different subnet or use VLAN.
It's working well with a Raspberry PI 5 to get about 950Mb/s (limited by the 1Gb/s interface).

@Ysurac Thank you for that. I will test with an unused pc I have laying around to see if that solves the speed issues. If it does, I can look into buying something for long term usage.
