Hey, why can't I create an issue? Issues have been moved to new IssuesDiscussion repo. #420
Description
Yarn Spinner is a small team and the codebase is split across many different repositories, and we found ourselves getting lost trying to make sure issues were in the right spot, correctly triaged, and something that we could then track ourselves as we worked on them.
What this meant was we were getting overwhelmed with basic issue maintenance. Once things get even a little bit out of hand it becomes to easy to go "oh well I will fix this next week". Before you know it, you've got a mess.
So instead we now have a single repo for issues, if you have an issue or feature and want to discuss it open an issue there. This way we can more easily triage issues and feature requests and then move them to the appropriate place. The idea being that issues can be freely created and discussed there, and then promoted into a full issue in the correct repo from there.
Once issues are in their repo then they are easier to track, and to make it clear that an issue is ready to be worked on if you feel a desire to help out. Please make sure you follow the instructions there to help us keep on top of all of this. This really helps us have more time to work on the quality tools with snappy bug-fixes and an open feature request process that you know and love 💚
