Issues with End: Remastered (This frame already has an eye)

Hello, I am running fabric version 1.20.1 and I found the Stronghold and have End: Remastered installed as well. There was an eye of ender already in the portal frame, I tried to right click a remastered eye but it says "This frame already has an eye" I tried with an empty hand too, but no luck
