Keep focus on member text fields for "dot" member notation in mappings

Context

When selecting members in a mapping using the "dot" notation a separate field opens. This text field can be used to type string parts of the searched member.

Issue

Once you mistype or simply search a not existent string the focus of the text field immediately gets lost and following character inputs are interpreted outside of the search field. Resulting for example in additions of "matches", "cast", "startswith" method etc.

Request

Let the search text field be focused also in cases where the search string does not match any member. Also interpret delete key strokes inside the search text field. Otherwise whole datatypes get deleted.
