Looks like modularity is calculated here: calculateEQ.m
Not sure if this calculation based on:

1. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/45880717_Modularity_measure_of_networks_with_overlapping_communities
2. https://arxiv.org/pdf/0801.1647.pdf
3. or something else?
