Commands

• install: Installs one or more packages.
  - Flags:
  - -y or --yes: Automatically answer yes to prompts.

  • uninstall or remove: Uninstalls one or more packages.
    • Flags:
      • -y or --yes: Automatically answer yes to prompts.
      • -r or --recursive: Remove the package and its dependencies.
  • upgrade: Upgrades installed packages to their latest versions.
    • Flags:
      • -y or --yes: Automatically answer yes to prompts.
  • downgrade: Downgrade a package to a specific version.
    (only for cached packages, not git repos)
    • Arguments:
      • Package name
      • Version number
  • search or find: Search for packages matching a given pattern.
    • Flags:
      • -r or --remote: Search in remote repositories.

• Package Information Commands:

  • info: Display information about a package.
  • list: List installed packages.
    • Flags:
      • -o or --outdated: List outdated packages.
  • show: Show detailed information about a specific package.
    • Arguments:
      • Package name

• Repository Commands:
  (custom cache, or if we host a "stable" cache)

  • add-repo: Add a new repository.
  • remove-repo: Remove a repository.
  • list-repos: List configured repositories.

• Dependency Management Commands:

  • dependency: Manage package dependencies.
    • Flags:
      • --install: Install missing dependencies.
      • --remove: Remove unnecessary dependencies.

• Configuration Commands:

  • config: Manage package manager configuration.
    • Flags:
      • --set: Set a configuration option.
      • --get: Get the value of a configuration option.
      • --unset: Unset a configuration option.

• System Commands:

  • clean: Clean up cache and temporary files. (means no local cache anymore)
  • check: Check for package dependencies or file conflicts.
  • validate/doctor: Diagnose and fix common issues.
  • upgrade-system: Upgrade the entire operating system.

• Other Commands:

  • help: Display help information.
  • version: Display package manager version information.
