ChatGPT didn't promise you anything, it hallucinated some nonsense 🙂 |

Sway replicates like 90% of i3wm. But something like this could only be done in i3 (assuming you're doing it in your current setup) with a compositor, and that's where Sway(FX) is completely different. It's not replicating any of the X11 compositors. It did have a saturation option though, but it was removed in 1.10 with the intention of replacing it with display profiles (which won't work per-window). Maybe you could try suggesting it as an enhancement, I'm not entirely sure on why was it removed aside from being "hacky". ChatGPT isn't very good for such niche software. |

That's a pitty! Yeah just guessing from the naming I suppose display profiles could also be handy on a per window basis. I'll make this suggestion. |

I'm looking for a tiling window manager that can make my unfocused windows appear grayed out. I came to swayfx because I'm using i3 atm and ideally I could use my existing configuration when I switch to wayland. Now chatGPT promised me this is possible:
which would be great but I didn't see anything like this documented nor did a quick search turn up this feature. Is this actually possible?
