Google Chrome looks different (after an update)

I just want to understand something,
Recently I updated Fedora it was huge update so things have changed, and this is how Chrome looked before

But now it looks like

even weirder (sometimes in tile mode when a window is removed and it gets resized):

The main point is that, if you look well, the UI in Chrome is bigger now (almost look like tablet mode).
I don't know if it really bothers me (except the scaling bug sometimes), just for education purpose I ask.

My wild guess is that Chrome updated and now it supports wayland better. Maybe it's good news, what do you think happened?

I fixed the scale issue by changing Fonts > Size > Scaling Factor to 1 in gnome-tweaks, the value was set to 1.25.
