In gtk3 based apps the theme is defined in dconf , org.gnome.desktop.cursor-theme it is hardcoded fof gtk3 with wayland to use only or,gnome setings no matter if you use gnome or wayfire or comething different. So over gtk3 apps (anf firefox and chrome are gtk3 apps) - it will use dconf cursor. when over wayfire background - it will switch to WCM setting. Mate-control-center from git (not sure about rellease version) is modified to control gtk3 settings in wayland. Maybe xfce4 too - not sure again. |

It's not entirely clear, but I'll look into it. One more question: where should I save the cursor theme for WCM to see it? Wayfire is installed using the wf-install script. |

Thank you for your help. I found the problem. The gsettings-desktop-schemas package was missing. |

Please tell me how to change the cursor theme. Alpina Linux OS. Only wayfire is installed. The breeze-cursor theme was installed. But I couldn't change the theme, as it always remained default. Changes to WCM and editing wayfire.ini did not work. I wonder where the default cursor theme is located?
