Possible to install without using the EXE file?

My employer lets me install OBS but blocks running EXE files without a long IT review. Can I manually install a plugin by emailing myself the ZIP file and placing the files in the right OBS directory?

Yes, it is possible to install the plugin on Windows without relying on the installer.

The advanced-scene-switcher-1.28.1-windows-x64.zip archive contains two folders - data and obs-plugins.
You will have to copy the contents of the data folder into the data folder of your OBS installation and the contents of the obs-plugins folder into the obs-plugins folder of your OBS installation.
