• Initial support for 64-bit ARM devices (WIP)
  QP Gallery is now being adapted to run on modern devices with 64-bit ARM architecture. This is still under development and may have limitations, instability, or crashes.

Thanks @VegaBobo for making this possible.

Known Bugs

• Search SecurityException error:
  An issue occurs when performing searches on Android 9+ devices, resulting in a security exception.

• Media refresh after any operation:
  In some cases Albums not update media scanner correctly after add/move/copy/hide media.

Changing sort order of a hidden folder removed it from the list. It never showed back even after force closing app. The folder and contents were safe thou. I've been using Fossify Gallery (its not perfect either) and missed QP. Will keep testing future updates.

I thought this wasn't possible looking at the stickied issue about 64-bit support. I'm guessing VegaBobo has reverse engineered the app? Unless the source code was leaked? Good stuff.

I'm also wondering how they achieved the unsupported architecture support. Reverse-engineering the original native library and rewriting it from scratch should be the only possible way by my understanding. But it's a difficult task. Never heard of this thing happened before.
Hopefully it would be possible for @VegaBobo to share some details.

1. Some folders under the same directory path are not being properly scanned and therefore do not appear in the app interface.

2. The photos displayed in the app are not sorted according to natural filename order.

Need force quit the quickpic to make it show.

Glitch behavior.
I'm using Android 15.

1. Include video can't be disabled.
   Video still appear.

2. Sort
   2A Sorting is not working properly.
   Open camera album > sort by date/anything else > grid view not refreshed > back to main menu > open camera album > sorted applied
   (or simply force close app to apply sorting).

3. New Pic not appeared (app scanning/refresh issue).
   Doing "2A" to refresh/rescan manually.

create failed: java.lang.SecurityException: Failed to find provider for user 0; expected to find a valid ContentProvider for this authority

Tested Alpha 2

• Gifs aren't giffing
• Include/Exclude folders doesn't work in settings, but excluding does work when done from individual albums. Clearing excluded list in settings has no effect.
• Hide/Show hidden works, but rotating the phone hides the folders again.
• Edit: Changing default sort order in settings breaks showing of hidden albums. Changing order per hidden album causes it to disappear.

Everything else on my OP12 appears to work.

Vertical Images are not rotated correct. Always 90 degrees wrong. If you rotate the phone they rotate as well and are again 90 degrees off.

Hi. Just to share my experience on pixel 8 with android 16. Seems that there is missing permission to memory. Not able to define folders either for include or exclude files. Everytime I open seems to search files. But very happy with your work.... Thks so much

Hiding an album, then showing it right away makes it disappear, like those pics are gone I think cause other apps can't find them

2 Bugs：
（1）Unable to copy images to another folder, displaying “Low available space 0 B”
（2）Hidden folders cannot be sorted by time or shooting time, otherwise the hidden folder will not be displayed in the app.

機種変更をして再度このアプリをインストールしたら、外部ストレージにしているSDカードのファイルの更新日付が全て1970/1/1になっていた
EXIF情報を読み込むと一時的に正しい更新日付に戻るが、ソートの種類をファイル名などに変えてから再度ソートを更新日付ソートに戻すと更新日付が全て1970/1/1に戻ってしまう
またアプリを一回閉じると次に開くときには更新日付が全て1970/1/1に戻ってる
