Mangrove Restoration Potential layer - selected geometry is no longer highlighted

When using the Mangrove Restoration Potential layer and you click on a polygon on the map, this polygon is no longer highlighted. This is problematic when multiple polygons have similar values and therefore the same color. Users can then no longer visually see the boundaries of what they selected. This used to work in the past, where the outline of the polygon would light up

@lyubovpencheva this is not working for me consistently. If I inadvertently hover over the highlighted area again, it unhighlights, even if the pop-up is still enabled. I believe that if the pop up is enabled the polygon should remain highlighted. @lhilarides is that what you were aiming for too?

Hi @lyubovpencheva, sorry, but I don't see this as fixed. If the pop-up is enabled, the area should still stay highlighted. Currently, if I move my cursor away from the area, the highlight disappears. I'm happy to demo this when we meet October 2 if it's not clear what I'm referring to or what the ask is.

It seems to work for me on Windows 11 / Firefox and Chrome, i.e. the polygon does remain highlighted when the popup is enabled. However, I would still prefer the original behavior where the polygon outline was highlighted on hover/click, instead of changing the fill opacity.

Expected behavior:

Fill opacity changes to 1 in both status (hover and click)

Line color changes opacity and width when polygon is selected

When the user closes the popup, or click outside the layer the selected polygon should go back to “default“ status
