Avalon Studio is a free and open source cross-platform IDE built on AvaloniaUI.

Avalon Studio is under active development, and new features are constantly being added. You can check out the list of currently supported languages here.

To run on an OS other than Windows, you need Mono.

Here is an early preview of what is coming.

Here it is running on Ubuntu, the same build also runs on Mac

The project was seeded from the original Windows only VitalElement Studio.
