Yes, I do still plan on making the new codebase available and resuming the FOSS releases! :)

Still figuring out the specifics there but, I'm also definitely more focused on the "official" releases at the moment.

Quick Ideas to Make GitSync Even Better

Hey! Love GitSync, but here are a few small things that’d make it even cooler:

1. "Select All" button
   When I’m picking files to commit, tapping one by one takes forever. A "Select All" would save so much time!

2. Make branches in the app
   Right now I have to open browser just to create a new branch. If we could do it here, that’d be awesome.

3. Open repo in GitHub
   A little button to jump straight to the GitHub page would help check things faster.

4. See GitHub Actions
   If the app could show if my workflows passed/failed, I wouldn’t need to keep checking the website.

That’s all. These would save me tons of time.

Open repo in GitHub

@JankleDev, "Open repo" wouldn't per se need to be limited to GitHub, since most web clients automatically redirect a standard browser UA from the .git remote URI to the repository dashboard. GitLab and GitHub do, and Gitea and Forgejo might.

I'm damn confident that'll be said to be outside the scope of this application. That'd need time serious API work, and for something already visible better in the browser, for solely a specific service. CI isn't Git.

Hey, really love these suggestions and I'm definitely adding some to the list! 👍🏾

@RokeJulianLockhart, you're also exactly correct, in that the only item on that list that I won't be exploring for now is the CI integration.

I'll update here if the features you've suggested become available :)

Pull changes is not working properly, it keeps appearing "Pull failed! Please check for uncommitted changes and try again." even though there is no local change on the pulling device. I can only use Force pull as a temporary solution for now.

I think I've seen others maybe mention this and that would be a better place to talk more about this :)

Just for some more information, this may be caused by creating commits and not pushing them locally but that's mostly speculation from me

Beta 1.7.81

The latest beta release comes with:

• a fix for remote branch pulling and pruning
• added commit signing
• improved merge conflict resolution flow
• improved app sync (android)
• libgit2 updates

Would appreciate any help testing and validating before the full release :) 🙏🏾
