Unwanted layer at the bottom of substrate

Hi. I am trying to create a substrate using the makePlane class. I have my domain with gridDelta=0.5. When I create it, it is generating another unwanted layer of thickness 1 at the bottom of my required layer due to grid delta being 0.5. How do i correct this code and remove the unwanted layer.

There is no unwanted layer. The bottom Si layer extends infinitely in the negative y-direction (in 2D). For visualization, it is artificially capped exactly one gridDelta below the lowest point, which makes it look like an extra layer. If you inspect the material IDs, you'll see there are only two materials present.
