There is no unwanted layer. The bottom Si layer extends infinitely in the negative y-direction (in 2D). For visualization, it is artificially capped exactly one |

There is no unwanted layer. The bottom Si layer extends infinitely in the negative y-direction (in 2D). For visualization, it is artificially capped exactly one
gridDeltabelow the lowest point, which makes it look like an extra layer. If you inspect the material IDs, you'll see there are only two materials present.
