Maximum number of articles pulled in each refresh

I am trying to troubleshoot the number of headers/articles that Vienna can pull from my nominated news server. The maximum I can pull is 100 articles in each group. I have thoroughly tested this and get the same results each time. The news server admin reckons that the RSS code allows for up to 250.

Any insight into my query would be appreciated.

I don't see such limitations.

For instance, this feed currently contains 292 items and Vienna is able to fetch it all at once.

If you are retrieving feeds from an OpenReader server, normal fetches will be limited to 1000 items, but you can get 10 000 items through the "Force Refresh Selected Subscriptions From Open Reader" menu item.

You have confirmed what I think is the problem with my subscribed indexing service of which i am using RSS to retrieve articles/headers, I have been liaising with the admin of that service, who is also investigating. I also now know that Vienna is definitely not the cause having tested with another RSS reader.
