The package store revisions when I create a new model despite not enabling it

I am running laravel 8 and php 8.1. When i create a new user, revisions are still being stored. it happens even when i disabled this.
Please how do I solve this?

Laravel 8 end of life was 4 years ago (08 Sep 2020)

Upgrade at least to laravel 10 and check if you have same errors.
