Linear sweep on specific binary goes in circles

On latest dev the binary eager cloud sings happily will happily continue to 3.♾️:

Does not appear to be a regression from 4.2 or 5.0. The user can hit the X to end the linear sweep so I am marking this as impact high not critical.

It' won't go to infinity.

Thanks for the test case! I've been planning to optimize this edge case for a while. This binary looks like a really useful example to prove out a solution.
