Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I should be able to click play and have the game load correctly. On my main 144hz monitor the game gets stuck at the 'Valve' screen unless I add -phased_window_create. See below image. The game loads correctly on my second, 60hz monitor without this flag.
It also causes occasional UI lag, particularly when new windows are created or removed.
I was able to get the game to run on the 144hz monitor with -phased_window_create and -sdl_index 1(?) I forget the exact flag and google is being unhelpful. -opengl and -vulkan didn't appear to affect it. However:
I should be able to mouse out of the game to my next monitor without issues, but the game suddenly changes to a small portion within the monitor. See below image:
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- launch underlords on debian from steam on a 144hz monitor with no launch flags (note the steam window is on the 144hz monitor)
--
- launch underlords on debian from steam with the following flags: -phased_window_createand-sdl_index 1(?). I can't find the exact flag for the latter anymore.. (note the steam window is on the second monitor now)
- during/after game is loaded, move mouse to second monitor
