What do you suggest?
I really appreciate the way you can measure nautical miles (NM) in VATSIM Radar. However, it would be even more useful if headings could be displayed on the same line; similar to how it works in EuroScope. This would make it easier to plan precise intercepts and maintain situational awareness.
Why do you need that?
It would also be great to have the ability to plan your own vectors when ATC is offline. This would allow pilots to simulate realistic radar vectoring and improve navigation accuracy during uncontrolled operations.
Alternatives
Currently, we can only estimate the correct heading based on the cockpit’s visual perspective. Having a map view with headings and other pilots’ tracks would make it much easier to determine and compare flight paths, leading to a more accurate and immersive experience.
