What do you suggest?
Hello you absolute legend.
Would love to see support for Point bearing distance. This is a format I know is supported by Air services Australia and simbrief, and supported as a direct input in Boeing and airbus aircraft.
Presently putting this in a flight plan causes no route to be generated at all (presumably breaking existing syntax).
It's a fixed format, point, bearing (true three digit always), distance (always three digits in nautical miles)
examples
"YCOI" is YBUN088027 (refrence 088 degrees from YBUN, 27 nautical miles away)
"Zone five field" is BLN086025 (reference 086 degrees from BLN (YBLN NDB), 25 nautical miles)
"OLRUX" is ENTRE260286 (reference 260 degrees from ENTRE (waypoint), 286 nautical miles)
Any VFR, IFR, airport or Navaid is supported as long as it is defined.
Why do you need that?
- prevent flight plans with this included from breaking the route view (WHICH I LOVE SO MUCH TYSM)
- to support them for visibility of those points along the route.
Alternatives
if not support, then prevent this from breaking the routes in some way?
