Description
Dota 2 is a PC MOBA video game that is mostly self-contained, but it does feature some crossover elements from other franchises. The Final Fantasy and Ōkami crossovers are pretty straightforward in terms of Beta lore, but the Dark Souls armor set is a bit more complicated. Since the armor set is unique to the Dota 2 character who possesses it, it's not considered a direct crossover, but the lore tied to the armor set alludes specifically to Lordran — the setting in which Dark Souls primarily takes place — and refers to the Darkwraith — a covenant in the Dark Souls games. I feel pretty comfortable calling this a Gamma event accordingly.
