No module named 'ultima_scraper_collection'

I have tried everything, including googling every single one of my issues. Every fix leads nowhere. I have fresh installed python many times so far.

I used to run this script with no issues about a year ago.

I'm going to explain my install process step by step and hopefully someone can tell me where I'm going wrong.

First attempt

1. I download and install Python 3.11 64 bit. I choose the first option (Install Now) to install to the default directory after selecting add to PATH.

2. I download [UltimaScraper-main.zip] from the main page of the github page. I then extract to my downloads folder.

3. I open a cmd prompt in the script folder and install poetry:

C:\Users\*****\Downloads\UltimaScraper-main\UltimaScraper-main>pipx install poetry
No Python at '"C:\Program Files\Python311\python.exe'
No Python at '"C:\Program Files\Python311\python.exe'
'poetry' already seems to be installed. Not modifying existing installation in
'C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\pipx\pipx\venvs\poetry'. Pass '--force' to force installation.

This means it's already installed? Cool. I did that a couple days ago.

4. I reboot

5. I run python updater, I install requests, then this happens:

OK. Maybe the default install location was a bad choice? I'll uninstall and try again.

Second attempt

1. I start the install and choose custom location after checking off PATH. I select 'Install Python 3.11 for all users and leave the other default selections checked. This installs python in 'C:\Program Files\Python311'

2 I reboot for the hell of it

3. I extract the script again to my downloads folder

4. I run the install poetry command and get the same thing as before. Already installed. cool.

5. I do this:

And this is where I'm at. For the hell of it I ran [code]pip install ultima-scraper-collection[/code] and after it seemingly installed a whole bunch of stuff, I still get the same result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bumping this. Im also having this same issue.

I fixed it with

poetry add ultima-scraper-collection

You can check if it's working with

poetry run pip show ultima-scraper-collection

At that point, it just told me
The following packages are already present in the pyproject.toml and will be skipped:
- ultima-scraper-collection
However, it also suggested I can update it to the latest compatible version with poetry update package, which I did, and after that it did work. Maybe this will help a noob like myself in the future.
