Solis claim batName fail

Dear all,

first of all thanks for this nice work. UART to JK-BMS and Can to Solis-inverter in general working - means e.g. the Solis inverter shows correctly the SOC.

However the Solisinverter goes into Alarm-Mode by complaining such error:

BatName-FAIL
Wrong Battery Model. Make sure the actual battery model matches
the selection on inverter LCD.

On the Inverter I have chosen: Pylontech

Anything which needs to be configured to make the Solis thinking its. US2000C battery pack?

Note: A partial workaround I have done is to set Battery on the Solis as Userdefined opposed to Pylontech. Then the Can-bus still works and the Alarm-message disappears.

Are you using one of my interface boards?
I have new firmware that allows selection of more specific CAN protocols that should solve this issue.

thanks. I am using an ESP32 with a TJA1050.
Difference to your drawing I am operating it at 3.3V and omit the resistor on the RX-line. Canbus operation looks very stable though.

Would you mind sharing the yaml which allows to tune more specific can protocols please?

The data sheet for the TJA1050 states that the minimum Vcc is 4.75v, running it at 3.3v is a very bad idea, why not just add the resistor and use 5v makes no sense not too.

The specific protocols is available with my hardware interfaces.

Please consider purchasing a hardware interface it has the latest firmware.
