Absorption too high current

I'm using a Solis S5 Inverter and the JKBMS.
Can Communication works.
16x EVE 280Ah Battery.
The ESP/BMS is switching to absorption at 55.2V - that works.
But the charge current is to high / is not lowering enough.
The Battery charge is stopping because the Cell Voltage is reaching 3,55V (56,8V Battery).

Which fault is that? BMS? Inverter? Can Converter?

Can i set a specific maximum Current at the absorption state?

Sounds like you have may have a couple of issues:

1. The Over Voltage Protection(OVP) in the JK-BMS should be left at the default of 3.6V
2. You may need to top balance the cells.
   If one or more cells are hitting the OVP before the rest it is because they have not been top balanced, or they need top balancing.

The whole pack is reaching 56.x V and then the OVP kicks in.

Who is controlling the current at the absorption state?
The absorption time was set to 5 min in the screenshots i think (for testing).

Absorption is the phase where the battery has reached the absorption voltage and the cells are fully absorbing the required current.
The cells control what current they need to become fully charged to the set absorption voltage.

Have you top balanced the cells???
If not this will be a constant problem until you do.

What setting are you using?
I recommend these for 16S 280K pack:
