Could you help with setting up the firmware for 12s li-ion
I have a battery LG Chem 10.8kwh 245ah 12s Li-ion Ford MUSTANG
It is possible to set everything up to work
I don’t fully understand how to set the battery voltage in the firmware

I have a specification for this battery

charge 100% = 4.166v x 12 = 49.99v
minimum charge 0%=3.167v x 12 = 38.004v
but since deye works up to 40v, then 40/12 = 3.33v = - 2.5% leftover (not discharged)

Hi,

12s is a bit too small, you should be using 14s for a 48v system.
Something like this might work, values from your data sheet, standard change/discharge used:
These are conservative, and you can adjust from here if need be.

To allow for some adjustability in the slider in Home Assistant, it is useful when you are manually top balancing, you can ramp up the voltage slowly and allow the balancer time to work.

force_chg_v is from my latest firmware ignore if you are not using it.

dont use 12s, dont follow my problem which i got using a 16S,
Deye Inverters normaly work on 14s ONLY if lithium
you will get it not fully discharged always (btw first try if deye gets to 40volts because it has specs 40-60v, but in my case (16s) the max voltage is 58.8 no matter what i did no matter what battery types and firmwares i used, so you can end up having 44 volts as example.

2. NMC disbalances between cells on anything lower 3.5volts, so thats your minimal. Have similar battery so i know what im talking about
3. Better dont charge NMC higher than 4.1 (i use 4.08volts) Trust me.

So you end up in short voltage borders and may be not using the battery full potential

i made a charge 48.6 / 12 = 4.05 = 90%
and the discharge is 41.41 / 12 = 3.45 = 10-15 %

You should only change the first 10-20 lines of code. Thats what i did

also a big ask for you
Can you simulate error (for example by heating the temperature sensor) when doing this lower the thresholds in JK app for temperature for like 35 degree so you can easily reach the error state
And tell me what you will receive ( will the inverter beep with error code or you will get 0x0040 with no beep
