Pylontech RS485 support

Hello,
is it possible to extend project to use also RS485?
What needs to change to use RS485 connection instead of CAN to send BMS data to inverter?
My inverter Voltronic Axpert Max can be enabled to use Pylontech-RS485 selecting PYL on panel

Hi,

The linked Battery.Compatibility.v3.HQ.pdf Suggests you need to set battery type 00 for CAN, does that work?

RS485 is not currently supported it would require significant effort to support, and I don't have away to test it, remote testing it not really viable.

Starting to put some thought into support for Pylon RS485 protocol, do you have your inverter connected via RS485 and can log and send me some data?

eg what the inverter is asking it should be something like one of these:
