No the ESP8266 does not have a built in CAN bus controller, there is no code for an esp8266.

No, though you could enable MQTT, but have been issues with in the past with the amount of MQTT data that is sent every few seconds, hence Syssi recommends to use the Home assistant API, like I use.
It doesn't switch the BMS controls(due to read only gps port), instead it instructs the inverter to enable/disable charging/discharging. |

Hello,
I am using jkbms with esp01 connected via TTL Rx Tx. The code is esphome-jk-bms from syssi. I am not using Home Asist. Only MQTT data to NodeRed and from there i read data and make some scenarios. I have some question regarding your code.
