Change the arrows to funnel

I found the navigation a little difficult to understand to begin with, but probably not more so than any other web based browser. I would suggest making the arrow between the headings and the +/- signs bigger or more obvious somehow that it contains drop-down box options. I found this by accident, and think it is really cool, so you should try and make it easy to find.
PHILIPPA: for the filter button could we switch the arrow to a “filter” like in excel e.g.  which might be more obvious? (I stole that from google but maybe we can have a black one to fit with the + - buttons).
UAUY: I agree with Philippa that the “funnel” button might be more self-explanatory to people. However, I think we need to change the “double-arrow” button to a funnel since this symbol is for filtering.. and this is what the double arrow does.. the +/- open the data and then when you click on a colour it sorts the data…

I need to find an icon, as it is not in the standard iconset. Just to make sure it follows the same aesthetics.
