Small improvements, how to contribute?

Hi,
I like this approach a lot and am therefore looking at the code and checking how to use it (in combination with my own stuff).
While doing so, I saw a few things that could be improved, but that would mostly make sense if you were willing to upstream things (such as spelling fixes, docstrings, simple python refactoring – but this code already is in good shape, I must say!).
And the repository does not look as if it was your primary development repo ("big bang!").
Should I work with this, do you want to sync the changes, or do you want to give me access to a private repo (in which I should create PRs)?
