Hello @heidi-ye @arashshams @sukh2929 @tdkhanhvu !

Dr. Jerry Bing here, sitcom amalgamation and global health expert. Thanks for making this dashboard, I can see how it will be really helpful to me to get a grasp of how the pandemic is developing. I took your app for a spin and here are my thoughts (some of which you might have hears already):

  • I really like how the countries are highlighted on the map when selecting the regions also, nicely done!
  • And great that I can switch between absolute or relative numbers!
  • I am a little bit hesitant to the rainbow scale used in your M3, I think the one in M2 more accurately represent the values.
  • Check the y-axes of your lineplots when selecting to show the relative numbers. There are a lot of decimals in the Python version and in the R verseion, the deaths are just 0s for everything. Format the axis or multiple by a higher number.
  • It would be nice if you styled the title and added info on who your are.
  • Some clearer separation of the widgets from the map would also be nice, e.g. put them inside a card. You could consider cards for your lineplots also, but I wouldn't say it is necessary (as in your proposal sketch where they have some more "framing").
  • A bigger item is that would be nice to be able to control which of the three linplot variables is displayed on the map.

Overall great job and looking forward to the final product!
