you're not supposed to use sizes like 1920x1080; use something like 640x360 and let fullscreen upscale it for you |

you could try using vector images, though that would cause a lot of colour banding if you use a png to vector converter |

if you develop for mobile, you should go with 1920x1080 - there's no good alternative - unfortunately scratch was limited by design - fitting the selection menu, the code, the stage, and maybe ingame menu's all on 1 screen with very limited resize options in the gui is probably the biggest reason people who love scratch still go for another solution, its just so frustrating. Really wish we could get the multi-monitor support that would help a lot ! |

It triggers me a bit that the stage is so big in the editor if you use custom screen size even at the smallest size setting at 1920x1080 pixels for example, there is hardly any space for the rest. Perhaps it would be possible to scale the stage size in the editor independently of the size as it appears packaged.
