Updating extensions in desktop

Is there a way to update the extensions without recompiling TurboWarp desktop? I'm working on macOS.

due to how they're stored, it's likely possible, testing it now

in a future release we will add the ability to load extensions from files which may be an easier workaround

On macOS:

1.7.2-beta.1:

• the offline cache is broken and it always downloads extensions from the website ???

v1.7.0 or v1.7.1:

• Open Finder > Application > control-click TurboWarp > Show Package Contents > Contents > Resources > static > extensions.turbowarp.org > those are the JS files that are loaded. You can manually download the extensions you care about from eg. https://extensions.turbowarp.org/stretch.js and just overwrite the old files in here.

if you are using versions before 1.7.0 then it will always just download the extensions from the internet at the URL you type in

Sorry I realized that I used the wrong word. I meant if there is a way of updating/adding the addons (singularly or globally, it doesn't matter).

Ah, yes, that's different

You would have to rebuild the entire app to do that, unfortunately
