[Headline] Design > Brand > Cover – What's it for?

There's an option to add a "Publication Cover" within Design > Brand in the Headline theme settings.

When I upload a picture, it doesn't appear anywhere. What's the use case?

Themes can't control what's under brand. It's boilerplate from Ghost core. Some themes use it, and some don't.
