Wall DropDash

I know I've posted something related to this before, but would a wall version of DropDash be possible to integrate into the current DropDash, or would it need to be an entire new ability? Also, I'd like some help making this possible as all of my attempts at modification either did nothing, made the dust effect spam or crashed the game.
