How can i add the corkscrew mechanic?

there is corkscrew mechanic in another version of orbinaut, called sol framework. try porting it over to OF2.

okey, i follow your idea and it works.... kinda, the issue now is that the animation of flip (the one it should play if sonic enters the corkscrew while running) doesn't play, it just keep with the same animation it enters (running if it is running and spinning if it is spinning), the code looks like this right now (if it is an abomination i'm sorry, i literally don't know anything about coding)

There are some things in Sol that do not exist or work different in Orbinaut. That's actually quite a good task that will make you understand Orbinaut better. Especially double check the PLAYER_STATE macro, its ordinal number might be different from Sol so the >= check simply won't pass
