Does that mean that you can "encrust" the effect into the desktop/wallpaper?
So the current answer is: "No", but technically it's somewhat "possible".
The problem/tasks
There are basically two (huge) tasks for this which I'm unsure if this should be done:
vibe would have to know which wallpaper are used.
What kind of (audio) effects should be applied to the wallpaper?
Possible solutions
For the first problem
One solution would be to make vibe a full wallpaper setter. With this, the user needs to provide the wallpaper which should be displayed to the given output.
For the second problem
There are some tricks to detect borders or other things by using convolution kernels and then for example applying some audio pulse or something like that to the given pixels.
Other infos
I don't know what I'm trying to achieve with this post. Just wanted to write some thoughts about it. Maybe this feature could/will be added? Maybe not? Who knows.
