Route caching prevents name change

Routes are cached for 6 hours. This is to improve performance. However if a routes name is changed in RWGPS then the CRS doesn't see that change.

I need to figure out how to keep the cache and allow for name changes.

It's not clear to me that the caching is the issue. I think the issue is that the route name is only updated if no route name is provided.

So the workflow:

• Update ROUTE name in RWGPS
• update FIDE in CRS

Ought to work, but won't, not because of the cache, but because the route already has a name.

What needs to change is that an update route should go back to source to get all the information, bypassing not just the cache but the current route linkage!

Perhaps menu options to do an 'update from RWGPS' for both routes and rides, in which case the current values in the spreadsheet are ignored, as is the cache.

This was an issue raised at the CRS Master Class.

There needs to be a specific action to update the route name.

A simple fix might be to just remove the Route Name Cache entirely. I'm not sure what the overall benefit is ...
